The new term has started

  • Mood: Satisfied
  • Listening to: ballroom dance music - waltzes and foxtrots
  • Reading: LOTR non-slash fanfic
  • Watching: Underworld (the the unrated extended cut)
  • Eating: steak tartare
  • Drinking: a nice little Italian red wine from San Vito
And so has LATIN 102. Actually, if I can just keep the demonstrative pronouns sorted out my translations are turning out rather well. I have 180 vocabulary words to memorize in two weeks as well as a new set of endings for i-stem nouns and another for i-stem adjectives.

Why am I doing this? because I'd like to read those manuscripts that I have been studying one of these days.

Balian of course is a distraction. He's almost 8 months old and is beginning to realise that he can charm anyone into doing exactly what he wants. Of course, he and I have a deal. He poses, I photograph and he gets kitty treats. It seems to be working out so far.

I hope everyone is having a good month and has recovered fro mall the holiday madness.

I got a Canon EOS 30D and the Ikelite housing with 6" dome port for it. I also got one DS-125 strobe unit.

I can hardly wait to see what my pics look like!
